An abrasive saw from Everett Industries is a reliable power tool that cuts hard materials such as metals, wire rope and hydraulic hose. The cutting action is performed by an abrasive cut off wheel that is extensively tested to produce quality cuts. An abrasive saw is designed with a built-in vise or other clamping piece, and has the cutting wheel and motor mounted on a pivoting arm attached to a fixed base plate.
We manufacture multiple chop saws for various applications. Our abrasive cutoff saw product line includes 12" and 14" multi-angle saws with a 3 H. P. motor, and a 16" fully automatic cutoff saw with a 7-1/2 H. P. motor. Additional types of abrasive saws, including metallurgical saws and wire rope saws, are available as well. Uncertain about which abrasive saw is best for you? Consider the type of application you are cutting and then give us a call. We routinely help companies and individuals select the right abrasive saw for the job.
At Everett, we’ll also help you with all of your cut off wheel needs. We have a wide range of abrasive wheels in stock, from 7" to 26". A typical Everett dry cut off wheel is fiberglass reinforced for break resistance. Our wet abrasive wheels are generally non-reinforced rubber bonded, however, we do produce a fiberglass reinforced wet abrasive cut off wheel (Grade 93FG). Note that all cutting wheels wear down throughout the cutting process.
Dry abrasive cutoff saws are available in a range of sizes from 8" to 26". Our dry abrasive cutoff saw product line includes abrasive wheels for all types of metal cutting, steel cutting, tube cutting or pipe cutting.
In addition, every cutoff saw can be fitted with a metal saw blade. Because of the high horsepower of the cutoff machines, and the wide variety of cutoff saw blades and materials available, each cutoff saw blade must be matched to the specific application.
