OUR CUTOFF SOLUTIONS
Everett offers a range of sizes and models of cutoff saws and abrasive cut off wheels for metallic and non-metallic cutting applications. Everett abrasive saws are available for making straight or miter cuts, wet (with coolant) or dry, manually or with automatic downfeed. Ask us about designing a complete cutoff station with length stops, infeed and outfeed tables, and deburring to meet your production needs.
Abrasive wheel cutoff chop saws can be used for cutting many types of hardened , pre-hardened, and annealed or soft metals, including hot and cold worked mild, alloyed, and tool steel. These abrasive wheel cutoff chop saws can also cut all types of stainless steel, tungsten carbide, aluminum, copper, brass, titanium, and high temperature alloys. Everett abrasive cutoff saws are equipped with a vise, or are available with alternative workholding for round bar, pipe, tube, channel, box tube, other structural shapes, wire rope, high and low pressure hydraulic hose, as well as for your specific parts, forgings, or castings. Select from our standard cutoff saw configurations below.
For quality, burr and burn free cuts and when surface finish is important, an abrasive cutoff chop saw with coolant may be recommended. Everett wet cutoff saws are offered with wheel diameters and power capable of cutting rounds up to 6" (150 mm) diameter and structural shapes up to 7" (75 mm) in cross-section. The most popular sizes of wet chop saw are 10" wet saw (250 mm), the 14"-16" straight (350-400 mm) wet cutting saw, and the 10" miter (250 mm) saw. Our most popular wet cutting abrasive wheels are the 1410 and the 93FG wet cutting wheels for metallurgical sample cutting and high quality cuts on hardened material.
Our non-ferrous cutting saws are a type of chop saw used to cut aluminum, copper, brass and plastic with solids up to 2" and shapes up to 4" diameter using HSS and carbide tipped blades. Our most popular non-ferrous cutting chop saw is the Everett 12"-14" multi-angle chop saw–perfect for fast, precise cuts.
You have so many options with an Everett chop saw, whether it be a wet saw, dry cutting saw or mitering saw, we have many machine options available. Depending on the type of metal cutting saw, Everett machine options include a vibra-action oscillator, hydraulic power head, patented dust collector-fume exhauster, cabinet and hood. See our abrasive cutoff machine catalog for saw specifications, and specifications on our abrasive wheels. In addition, Everett saws workholding options include single and double-action air vises, quick-action cam lock vises, T-slot vises, work bench screw clamps and v-shaped chain hold down vises.
